As the name suggests, cellar spiders are generally found in the basement of homes. This species is a light tan color and has a small body (a quarter of an inch) with long, thin legs. In California, this is the “daddy longlegs” species. This species will occasionally bite, but they have short fangs and weak venom. Despite being physically non-threatening, these arachnids form cobweb-like webs which can be a pain to deal with.
Orb weavers are some of the most common spiders in the Temecula area. They are typically about a quarter of an inch to three quarters of an inch long. These arachnids come in a variety of colors, but are most commonly grey or reddish-brown. Orb weavers will bite if they feel threatened, but it generally only feels akin to a bee sting.
Worse than their bite is that they lay eggs in massive quantities. Females can lay over 2,500 eggs at a time, and these eggs typically hatch in the spring, which is why dealing with orb weaver infestations early can help prevent a future issue
Yellow sac spiders are pale yellow and have bodies about a quarter of an inch in length (similar to a brown recluse). Sac spiders are great climbers, and can easily get up slick surfaces in order to construct their webs on ceilings where walls meet. Yellow sac spiders have a bite that feels similar to a bee sting, but the small red bumps may become itchy and more painful a few hours later. It is possible that nausea or vomiting occurs after being bitten by these spiders, but they are not deadly.
Wolf spiders are hairy arachnids that generally measure between half an inch to two inches in length. An important distinction between wolf spiders and other species is that they do not sit in a web to wait for their prey, they use their speed and quick reflexes to actively hunt insects. Wolf spiders may bite humans if they feel threatened, but these bites are not lethal and generally only cause some mild irritation and itchiness.
Black widows spiders are black spiders with a red hourglass-shape on them and typically measure about half an inch in length. They reside in dark, dry areas such as wood piles, dark corners, or rodent holes. Although this species is notorious for being deadly, only about .3% of black widow bites in the US result in death. Despite this, it is important to take cautionary measures with these arachnids.

Our team begins by thoroughly inspecting your home’s interior and exterior to identify the type and extent of the spider infestation. We focus on high-activity areas like basements, attics, and dark corners where spiders often build webs. By identifying the species, we can customize a treatment plan that effectively targets the problem. This step ensures no hidden nests are left behind, reducing the chance of re-infestation and keeping your home spider-free.
For interior treatments, we apply eco-friendly sprays and dusts that target spiders while ensuring the safety of your family and pets. Special attention is given to corners, baseboards, and areas where spiders typically hide or enter your home. Our treatments work quickly, killing active spiders and preventing new ones from settling in. These interior solutions are long-lasting and designed to minimize disruption to your living spaces.
Exterior spider treatments focus on stopping spiders from entering your home. We treat areas around windows, doors, eaves, and exterior light fixtures, where spiders are most likely to build webs. Our professionals use targeted sprays that are safe for the environment but effective at eliminating spider populations outside. This forms a crucial barrier, preventing re-entry and keeping spiders at bay.
Our perimeter treatment establishes a protective barrier around your home. We treat the foundation, flower beds, and landscaping to eliminate spider habitats and entry points. This treatment is essential for long-term control, as it reduces the chances of spiders moving indoors. Our perimeter solutions are designed to last, providing you with peace of mind and a consistently spider-free environment.
